What's neat about it is that it's a third arrangement of the open major chord tunings. Open D and its analogues have the third string tuned to the third. Open G et al have the second string tuned to the third. Open C has the first string tuned to the third. There are things that'll sound cooler or be easier to play in one or the other. <br> 8)]]></content:encoded>

Rollin and tumblin sounds like a good one to learn also. <br><br>The guitar pro tab i have of Mean old world is in open G and sounds pretty good, I dont know about tuning my 60's Stella parlor to open E, it might fall apart! I was trying to play the Skynyrd slide parts in standard tuning, thanks for all the tips!<br><br>"Love Spreads" by the Stone Roses is an awesome slide song that i had forgotten about!]]></content:encoded>
