This is the Sunday Songwriters Group. Bob posts some assigment every sunday and everyone who wants to can write something according to that assigment and post it here. Why not try that some time?

As for the lyrics, I can't say you're doing anything wrong, it's all a matter of what you like. I think this are good lyrics, nice flow, and your English is very well if you're only 14! There's a few things I'd do different though.

There some things you will regret
I'd make
There are things you will regret

Also you jump from "you" to "I". I tend to write my songs using either I or you. But again, different people different tastes.

When I want to make some guitar parts for a song, I start with singing the lyrics. Making a melody of it. When I've got something I like, I grab my guitar and start hitting things randomly. When I get some sounds I like, I keep em. Until I've got a chord progression or something. There are general rules for it, which chord sounds best after another one, but I don't use any of them... I just play around until I find something I like. And yeah, I've written about a 100 lyrics so far, and maybe 10 made it all the way through and got recorded... And out of those I only like about 2.

In conclusion. I can't help you

Maar als je wil, mag je me toevoegen op MSN... karlafeijs@hotmail.com Keertje erover chatten in het Nederlands is altijd makkelijker he
