As a newcomer to this forum I would just like to make the following observation.
As hard as it is to write a good song, (let alone writing it in one week) I think it is also difficult to write a good critique someone else's song.
I think we should remember that when someone posts a song, they are effectively exposing a little bit of themselves, but they do this because the benefits of constructive criticism outweigh the feeling of vulnerability.
This means for the forum readers out there, its ok to criticise a song and say what you really think, because that's why the writers have posted the song in the first place.
Of course as a reviewer, you also expose a little of yourself when you post a review, but I applaud anybody with the courage to post a review that may not be quite what the songwriter wanted to hear as long as it is constructive. Most people learn better when feedback is delivered in a positive way.

Anyway that's my tuppence worth.
