Yeah, I found it quite ballad-y! Some quite subdued guitar with some equally subdued singing to begin with - growing sort of angry by the end, I reckon. Maybe the female bit could be a counterpoint?

I have been going through this as a very disappointed person's view on the old office gossip , things if you know what I mean , but I played around with this after your post on this and ( jazzed it up a little ) faster beat some power chords thrown in there and had my daughter singing the female voice in a sarcastic way and it sounded pretty good .

Thanks for your suggestions but this old man just might stick to his old
( ballard ) style .

so you do know the Beatsteaks? cool 'cause they're a German band and just made it into the public's centre of attention this very year(though they were there before, of course, they had some 'hits' this year and I came to love them which before I didn't because I only knew one song)
if you got another idea that's fine and surely better because it's your own and not the style of someone else :D it'd be interesting to hear it Beatsteaks style though :wink:
(do you want this to be more like aggressive or sarcastic...whatever... or disapointed, sort of 'what's coming over you?')

Beatsteaks ? thanks I am very impressed , but that's not what I was looking for but I might give their syle a go on this it might be better than my old style I have been playing around with .

really like your song, could hear it kind of Beatsteaks style(but that could just be because I've been listenting to their stuff intensively again and was at their concert Sunday... maybe you'll have a better idea)
