Listened to the MP3 and have to say it's up to your usual high standard.  I think your voice is excellent on the track and the lyrics are really good but have to echo Jamir and say the distorted guitar is out of place.  Maybe softer and a lot lower in the mix you could get away with it.

The distortion wasn't really my brothers idea, it was mine -- I'm a rocker by nature, although you wouldn't know it from some of my other recordings.  I just got a program where I could put distortion in - although it would sound a lot better if it was coming from an actual amp - less harsh.  I am thinking of lowering the distorted guitar in the mix some toward the end of the song - so that may help a little.

I love the words and the melody you have for this one, you have an amazing voice..... you remind me of alanis Moresette sometimes ::), your brothers backing is really great, but I must say the parts were he puts distortion on the guitar spoil it for me :-/, as it is a "soft" song  and the distrortion doesn't do it justice. The intro and outro is really really great  ;D

I haven't been writing much new lately, but I have been working on getting music/mp3s done for some of my older songs.  I just finished the mp3 for SSG week 16.  The song is "Uninspired"  -- That's the title - I hope the song isn't actually uninspired!   ;D

The mp3 has 2 guitars, bass and vocals -- the vocals are me -- everything else is my brother.
