I though the man goes to the bar by himself to drink and she sits at home(or wherever) and is like a 'widow of a barroom' because that's all her man is now, an alcaholic in a baroom griefing for lost days...<br>so it seemed unsuitable to me to say '<I>they</I> come here most nights...'<br>or do they go there together??? no now I think I got it with 'they' you mean just everyone who comes to the bar?! <br><br>anyway I really love this verse. and why not make it an Irish song if you feel like it? most of the Irish songs I've heard so far had a really sweet charm about them.<br><br>bye!<br>bluenightangel]]></content:encoded>

The suggestions are very much appreciated. I like the idea of a disinterested third party looking in, bartender, piano man , or maybe the guitar player. Yes it is set to a country thing I like the celtic idea could work. Vic I ran your idea about the Him/Her verse but felt it would be cheating on the assignment.Also thought of thier child but couldn't bring myself to put a child into  that relationship.  :(  Anyways on and to this weeks assignment<br> Once again Thank You all]]></content:encoded>
