I've already posted for this assignment but I like the idea of writing about wishes without using the word wish. That would add a bit more challenge.

Thanks for the insight I'll keep it in mind in the future.

Celt

There are many good songs comming this week but I don't think many of them actually made the assignment. The part about the assignment I am talking about is this:
Remember to use imagery - show me rather than tell me (used by kind permission of Nick Torres). This could be too easy if I just let you tell me.

But most of the songs are going like, "I wish for," "My wish is," etc...

I think a couple of the songs posted might follow the guidelines of the assignment but most seem to go the other way to me. I think Spadge probably made the best attempt so far of reaching the requirements of the assignment; even though he is describing more who the wishes would affect and then saying "My wish.." it comes pretty close in my mind.

Its a hard assignment for sure...I haven't even started but thinking about it yet and every time I do I end up going, "I wish," or, "My wish is..."

Anyway, correct me if you think I am wrong. I am not saying the songs stink, far from it, I just think maybe we could challenge ourselves, and each other, more with this one.
