I really wrote it purely for the discipline of writing something for the week.
I was trying to keep the 'opposite theme' fairly subtle and understated merely as two people expressing different points of view leading to a final resolution that might not have been expected at the start of the song.
Anyway I'm hoping to have something better to write for this weeks assignment

it's an interesting topic, do I get it right when i think it's about someone who does recognize a good singer but for whom music has no value and is like a waste of time? I know there are such people(e.g. my mum...she can't even remember if she heard the song she's listening to before or not and she can't recognize certain, often-heard, singers either) and I just can't understand them. music is everything to me(next to drawing, reading...but music is like the most important of it all). 'stupid guitar' that must hurt :wink:

I like the fact that the girl inherits the father's talent there.
