beautiful lyrics, nothing at all I would change there. Flowing very nicely, too. And I adore the "I miss.." parts :D Might be because, at least in the way I hear them, they avoid sentimentality while being simple, true and very effective in their shortness (as a contrast to the longer descriptions of how it is now).

Suggestion:
Consider changing "my" to "our"...."I" to "we" in some parts..."you" to "they" It's subtle, but to me it makes the difference between one man complaining vs. an 'underdog' group more in line with the types of organizations you mentioned in your intro.

Anyway, I'm a supporter of Greenpeace and Stop Stansted Expansion, so here's a little anti-urbanisation something from me. It's a bit rough still, but nothing that can't be fixed and clocks in at about two minutes. The lines "all I know is I miss the....." is done with a Cmaj7 and Fmaj7 sequence to get that wistful feel, and I've got some minor 7ths and a dominant in there to get me away from the convenient block chords. There's also a point in the chorus where I slide the Fmaj7 up two frets to give a variation on Em7. MP3 to follow later in the week once we've got the words polished up a bit.
