Hi Llyr

This is a good start and allow me to officially welcome you to the SSG - glad you stopped by.

I can see where you are trying to go with your piece. It just needs a little bit of thinking about. Â Here's how I understand it.

Person falls in love easily and often and does so again believing that this time it's for real. Â However, this time turns out to be like all the times before and person is in a situation they've found themselves in a number of times before - their own personal hell.

So trying to keep as much of your submission as possible here's something I knocked up - very quickly so it's nowhere near brilliant but hopefuly you'll get the idea.

You make it feel like Heaven
And the smiles this time are real
My demons gone forever
Cast out by how I feel (not brilliant I know)

And every time I fall
You understand my pain
Warm eyes and gentle kisses
Make me whole again

But it's not long until
This charm loses its spell
And here I am again
In the 7th circle of my Hell

It may be that you can work your piece around with the same idea. Â Give yourself a storyline and try and tll that story through the song. Â Obviously the more metaphorical you can become then great but don't worry about that just yet try telling the story.

Good start as for diving in - SPLASH - you're wet - welcome. ;)

Bob  ;)
