                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I thought I would write a song in the tradition of 'the drinking song'<br>These are sung to any traditional Scottish or Irish tune that you can think of after afew pints of the brown stuff. It doesn't really matter because the person dueting with you is unlikely to be singing the same tune (or even the same words for that matter).I'm not sure I've really exploited the geometrical theme but it is at least about a circle and sticking that close to the assignment is pretty good going for me.<br><br><br>I’ve travelled round this country<br>Like many another man<br>And I’ve never took the straight road<br>When another’s come to hand<br>I’ve never been a stranger<br>To a tall and foaming glass<br>But if I only drink one more<br>Then I know where it will be<br>At a little circle table<br>In a wee pub in Dundee<br><br>There’s many public houses <br>Where a man can find a beer<br>There’s bistros bars and cafes<br>That are brimming with good cheer<br>But there’s none that I remember<br>With quite such fond reflection<br>I can’t make you understand<br>How much it means to me<br>That little circle table<br>In a wee pub in Dundee<br><br>It’s the place where I first tasted<br>The drink that brought me pleasure<br>It’s the place where I first wasted <br>An afternoon of leisure<br>It’s the place where I first held the hand<br>Of the girl that’s still beside me<br>If I only had one wish<br>Then I know where I would be<br>At a little circle table<br>In a wee pub in Dundee.<br><br>Cheers and one for yourself<br>Beren]]></content:encoded>
