One persons noise is another ones music
My dumbphone
Even the mirror is turning white
I've got nothin
Me and my muse
Looking for a hook
Stuck in a loop
Filling forty-four
That train already left the station
Writing across the world
Staring at a blank page
Already written
Sending out a satellite signal
Stuck inside
Fast Eddie and slow Mary
Sunday's coming
Song for the insane
Time tested trick
Convenience store corridor
Pursuit of perfection
The leaves in the eaves
My pen runs dry
Feedback
Whats that crackling sound
I'm lookin down
Digging through old writings
I should stop now

Trying to find reasons to love my job
Between you and James I think you're cornering the song title market!
Particularly intrigues by "Sunday's Coming" and "Chelsea and Colin."
Peace
dhodge,
Thanks, Chelsea and Colin came from randomly pointing at pages in the phone book. There's at least few million more out there, and thats just in English.
Andy
Nice idea, Andy. Will have to give it a try at some point. An occasional songwriting "boost" is to open a random book to a random page, plop your finger down and use a sentence. No reason at all that book can't be a phone book. When you think about it, using a play would also be great as that tends to be dialogue more often than not.
Cool.
Peace
I sure am glad you can't copyright titles. Great ideas.
I sure am glad you can't copyright titles.
...........or chord progressions
Trying to find reasons to love my job
Is this one a title or a comment
My guess is both
John
Filling Forty Four hooked me. It's mysterious.
:)
Don
boxboy,
44 :!:
dhodge,
I like the play idea, time to get out the W.B. Yeats and Shakespeare. :o
MrEWorm,
Titles are free
James,
and chord progressions :note2:
John,
Both
Now a few more from today:
A prayer, a pledge, and a presentation
It used to be a Kodak moment
Will I get fined or will I go to jail?
Another frustrating moment
Send a significant signal
Dogs and cats reduced, dogs and cats destroyed
Protect our property
Its only a matter of time
(any combination of) Joe/Beau/Flo/Mo can know Rolando/no banjo/tan toe
Beans in a bag
Crispy kale chips
You're so manipulative
Frighteningly fit few
Presidents preaching to the public
Throw this/that out there
It's a dubious distinction
Practicing the unpredictable
The frustration we face
Great - now I've got "crispy kale chips" totally stuck in my head!
Good stuff here, too.
Peace
dhodge,
 Yeah me too, that was from comments on a recipe that my wife printed and I was
recycling the back side for song scribblings
