Hello to all

And, again, my thanks for your patience this week as I arrived home from the Toronto area far too late last night (or early this morning, I'm not sure which at this point) to post on Sunday. Next week we'll be back to normal!

For this week, though, let's focus on people, specifically, a person's name. There are a lot of great songs where the title and the whole hook of the song is a name, such as "Barabara Ann," "Daniel," "Sexy Sadie," "Jeremy" and, of course, "Gloria." Often the name itself invokes a powerful image to the listener.

So choose a name, preferably the name of someone you don't know personally. Then create a persona to go along with your name (again, try to go outside yourself and fashion a fictional character but one who could be someone anyone might happen to know) and then come up with a song for that person.

As always, I look forward to reading and hearing what you come up with.

Peace
