                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hello to all<br><br>This week I'd like to revisit a topic that Bob Mothers first introduced to the SSG quite a while ago - the idea is to write a song with a first-person narrator who has what one would call a "solitary" job, meaning one that has little to no contact with others. Jimmy Webb's "Wichita Lineman" would be a good example. Long distance truckers would certainly be another obvious choice. <br><br>The key to this, though, is to not spend the song descibing the job but rather the workings of the mind of the narrator. <br><br>As always, I look forward to reading and to hearing what you come up with. <br><br>Peace]]></content:encoded>
