And apologies for the lateness of this posting. Have been in the recording studio all weekend working on audio files for an upcoming book and it's been a big time sink.

Somehow during the course of all this it's turned to Spring. Or Fall, depending on where you live. Whichever season you're entering, it's a big one for farmers.

And that's our focus this week. Write a song with a farm theme of some sort. It can be about life on the farm ("Maggie's Farm" or "Scarecrow") or a story simply set of a farm ("Ode to Billie Joe" or the empty farmhouse of "Coming Up Close") or just mention a farm either as part of the story ("Woodstock") or for seemingly no reason whatsoever ("Junior's Farm").

We're going to have to forego numbers this week, too, as I'm heading back into the studio as soon as I post this and don't want any of you to waste more time because of my inability to reply quickly.
