The first thing that came to mind for me when I saw the title "Wake Up Dead" was Megadeth's song by the same name. Except in that song it's about a husband/boyfriend coming home late after cheating on his wife/girlfriend and... well you can guess the out come for that song. <br><br>So many lines and verses that are great to pick just one. Great how you get the feeling same crud, different day from your song from my point of view. It also drives home for me finding out about a girl I had a crush on for years is getting married, just another dream lost forever.]]></content:encoded>

Anything to get back into the swing of things...<br><br>At the end of the song, there is a bit of a rap/chant thing going on (it's the <I>"...all the things you didn't do..."</I> part), which is sung over a bass/drum solo before being done again while the final chorus is sung at the same time.
