The one thing that threw me a little is the his and her similes in the first verse. Thanks for pointing that out as a source of confusion....I was trying to paint a bit of a whole imagery with spiral stairs, a dragon, a princess....basically a "fantasy" mentality/scene.....

.....I was hoping it being a simile wouldn't seem like a gender confusion; but I can see how it could be by being stated so early in the song....The idea was to be cut off from the "real world" and be fine with it....ie Rapunzel not waiting around for a prince, but content "doing her castle tower thing"
