The use of opposites is a time-honored songwriting tool and it's well done here. I really enjoyed the chord progression as well, the way it carries the ear around, seemingly using the C chord as its tonal center in the verses even though the chords are from the key of F. And using final G major in the chorus to sends it all back to C is very cool.

Always worth the listen, sir! Looking forward to more.
