Yes and no.  I used a software package, but tried to "create" a new sound<br><br>Steps taken:<br>Use Sonar X2<br>Open the vst synth TS-1<br>Set a midi channel for the "scream" <br>Set up another midi channel for the "applause"<br>Record some random "chords" to trigger the sounds<br>Go into the piano roll view and off set the triggered notes<br>Add an echo/delay audio effect to the midi channel..........and presto!<br><br>..........seagulls by the seashore (meant to be screaming teen age fans from the '60s) :lol:]]></content:encoded>

Have to say, though, the effect that's supposed to be (I think?) kids screaming at a concert sounded in my headphones like a cross between seagulls and the surf, making me wonder if maybe it was 1963 (release of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds") instead of '64. <br><br>It seems this is my week for picking on choruses! I think the "war" rhyme in the chorus is just that, a rhyme. Maybe changing the third verse entirely might not seem so forced (even though this idea is also a forced rhyme!):<br><br>The British invasion 1964<br>The British invasion on America’s shores<br>The British are coming!
