When I started listening to the song, I thought that there wasn't enough variety. Then came the solo. Think about putting the solo earlier in the song.

The mime reference didn't add anything to the song and didn't fit with "I'll just say my lines alone." It could be about a struggling potential actor. Did you make all these revisions before the sun came up this morning? I worked on an idea for the song starting around 8 PM last night and posted the original version around 11 PM last night....went to bed......woke up after the sun :wink: and read your comments a little before 8 this morning and have been working on revising, recording and reposting for about an hour.

The revision is great. The fifth and sixth lines:
They don’t like the likes of me
And I don’t like this town anymore are very clever and catchy and much more memorable than the original.

I figured that stalking Drew was for landing a part, but I was still stuck on "the narrator is a songwriter" mode so I was just not making the leap. It's all better now!
