People love to criticize
the times in which we exist
though the melodies are new to me
there's no reason to resist


Inventing scary phrases
like cyberspace and on-line,
won't make the words matter,
the concepts are benign


This audiovisual madness
only happens in your mind,
It's no different with computers,
than it is when you're off-line,
write your thoughts with pen and ink,
or with electron flow,
Grace under pressure
is the only way to go.


It's no good to fault the medium
when mankind holds the blame.
the never-ending tedium
bears witness to our game.


Let's see what happens
with smaller, faster toys.
If they hadn't built the internet,
there'd be no GuitarNoise.
