Thanks, I've fix those typos. The more revisions I make, the more typos I generate. I don't see the typo in "the inside of a ship was the last she ever saw" though. It's a bit loose, but I think it's what I intended.

There were just a couple places I felt like you were forcing to many syllables in to the line Yes, my dirty little habit. Pbee called me on that last week. I'm interested to know which lines you felt were too crammed to see if its the same as the lines I'm thinking of.

As for the extra info in the second chorus, the "bones of my fathers" bit was intended to re-inforce the homesickness already established. It implies that generations of his family have lived in Ireland, but now he is leaving. It also restates the theme of death. That was my motivation anyway. Still, I'm glad you liked chorus 1.

Yeah, the forcefully line was tricky to me too. I had to try a number of different ways to sing it to make it fit the melody. Thanks for letting me know it works in the recording.

Great Job!

I tried listening to this but had to leave to tape an Irish American
band for our local Community Access Television.

You really caught the Celtic feel in this one.

You seem to be up on your history too. Very good view
of what it must af been like on the "coffin ship" as they
