BNA, I was trying to give the impression that we are both being asked the same question and both giving the same answer. Clearly I have failed! I'll give it some thought on how to put it better, or otherwise default to your suggestion.
There's certainly nothing wrong with what you're saying, it's just that I was trying (and failing) to say more.

LK. I know EXACTLY what you mean - that's just the style I had in my head when writing these lyrics. Will see if I can get some music down soon.

Just differently arranged. I also like the following two lines but got a question: Someone asks me 'how are you?'
I hear you lie across the room 'no, really, I'm fine now.' I think you might want it to say "someone asks 'how are you?'"..so you're not asked, she is asked the question, right? at least that#s how I get it from the next line.. just a thought. otherwise amazing lines.
