I like how this works, the internal rhymes, the attention to detail (the TV dinner and Oprah lines are great and mirror each other in a nice way), all in all it's pretty cool. The only thing I'd say is that in the second verse you use "minimum wage" and, especially since it's a union job, it's safe to say your narrator makes (or made, I should say) a little better than that.

Good to see that you've been a regular here this year Mike and looking forward, as always, to more from you.
