Peter, that sitar quality is because the guitar was tuned DADGAD so that bottom D is always ringing.
Trev, I must admit I had a little trouble getting that low (there are a couple of mistakes in there) , I wanted the transition from the voice to the note played on the Bass guitar to be seamless.
John, Im slowly getting the hang of the congas, they're really fun to play
Joe, thanks for sharing that with me, you've made my day mate, getting inside someones head is great from my point of view.

Its interesting that in this song even through its about the drum, it's the bass and guitar that gives it its mantra like quality.
Joe my wife and I are learning Salsa at the moment so one of my to-do items is to write a salsa song with lots of conga rhythm in there.
