Having lryics that could be death metal and using them for a much lighter sounding song is great. Also Paul's idea of linking more verses like you did for 1 and 2 would be good.

to me this song would defintely suite Jack Johnson, the 1st & 2nd verse link are definitely his influence, I like that. Maybe you should try it with the other verses. That would be cool.

... I figured the "hell to" phonetically spelt might cause even more confusion so just changed it to "hell to". Although if I had the gumption to record it you'd hear it pronounced "helter" ... gotta rhyme with "shelter" ya see. :D

Anyhoo, onto the song. This is in a very similar vein to other titles posted regarding neighbourhood noise. As for what style I'm thinking of this being done in I'm in two minds; I originally thought of it in a Jack Johnson or Xavier Rudd style calming type of song but then thought it might be more appropriate (and ironic) being done in a heavy, almost metal style ... which I have no idea how to play. :D
