That could easily be repeated throughout, and I wouldnt get bored of hearing it.

Good stuff!

The Title line works well for me even as the"stay" part of the journey
because you say you can not "stay" long elsewhere in the song.

What you have is good, it did leave me wanting more of the story
but this is a very good start.

I really liked:

and there was plenty of good singable stuff there. I stumbled a bit on the "some" of "when I pass by some phone booth" which didn't seem to quite ring true... (sorry, bad pun.... :? )

I also wasn't too sure about "Sojourner". A sojourn is the "stay" part of the journey, rather than the wandering bit, so I wasn't fully sure how that worked. And my few attempts at singing "that's the sojourner's truth." just didn't fly at all. Well, it's been around 10 weeks, I guess, since I've tried to tackle an assignment, and it shows. As a result, I have some unfinished / fragmented stuff here, but I'm going to post it anyways, else I'll be going on 11 weeks. I'd be grateful to hear any ideas you all have about how this could be fleshed out. As it is, there's no real story, it feels like the end of each verse should probably be worked into a chorus, and the last two lines, well... they're just lines I didn't want to lose, but they don't belong to any particular component of the song yet. Maybe I'll get to work on it this weekend. Just be aware that as of now, it's a *very* rough draft.
