I can relate to that one....I've kind of taken the nose to the grind stone approach.....I'm not saying it's the best or will work for everyone, but I can't really sit done and write a "gem of a song".....it's more like start writing and see how it looks at the end of the process.....so I guess my suggestion is go ahead and write a song about a conflict that is not song-worthy for the sake of doing it.....it doesn't mean you HAVE to play for others as your latest, greatest work.....but you should definately post it at SSG  :wink: <br><br>Either way, Nick's highlighting the requirement of the song assignment means you can blame the "bum conflict" on The Police or The Clash if your song ends up being a lemon  :P]]></content:encoded>

Could be the autumnal equinox, decreasing daylight, whatever. <br>Giving some thought to "conflict in song" I've come up with<br><br>DO I STAY OR DO I GO/ The Clash: simple enough. Do I leave and be miserable because I want you but you're crazy, of do I stay and be miserable because I want you but you're crazy. <br><br>Don't stand so close to me/The Police : underage Lolita torments teacher, teacher wants to ignore her but cant. <br><br>Working to try and come up with a conflict of my own to write about. Not that I'm not conflicted, just not sure if my conflicts are song-worthy!]]></content:encoded>
