Definitely a good fit on the assignment. Good use of imagery to show us. It is very vivid and I got this one straight off.

Hard time putting any sort of melody or rhythm to it but I suspect you've got one in your head that works.

very vivid, but I'm having a hard time putting a rhythm to it.......but it's one of the very few songs that fully fit the assignment - "Show me, don't tell me....."

I don't remember a lot of the stuff you posted previously, but this piece strikes me as being eminently more lucid. Some really fantastic lines, I thought, were:

i feel bad that i don't totally understand this song. :oops: i think i have a basic jist but am not sure. i think that the song is about a man and his two different pasts that he was getting over and a woman that is telling him not to worry about that b/c it is the past. and he wants to live the good dream. am i correct or am i way off base :?:

from running in the streets. :? not sure what this part means exactly. i don't understand the ending quickly part.

there is so nice imagery here, and if i got the sentiment right that is nice too.
