My only suggestion is this:

I think I would change this line, the 1st three are all related to the future but the last line jumps back in time. I think I would relate that to the sentiment of the other three if it was me.

What a lovely song , as I read this it could be about any two boys , I still have a mate from when we started school aged 5 years now we are in our 40's .

I think slow guitar picing might just be the order of nearly every song this week ,

The chorus really hit home with me , does our childhood ever leave us ? Or do we just joke about it ?

Very touching and I like it alot

G-C-D-C for the choruses
