woke up this morning
aint got a job to go to
ain't got nothin
but 6 strings and these old blues
if i ain't doin nothin
why do i feel so used

if i win the lottery
i guess i'd buy myself a truck
don't have anywhere to go
but oh well, what the ****
i'd let my baby drive it but she'd probably steal it
knowin my luck

well the minutes turn to hours
and the hours wear to the bone
i don't mind sittin here
but i hate sittin here all alone
i don't mind her cheatin on me
but i sure wish they'd hang up the phone
