I was going to do that, too. Mine was going to be about the concept of deja vu and Feb 30 being like a reset button....It was weird when I first started reading the assignment, I had all these flashes of ideas.....then I read "meaningful to you....and I had a mental lock.... :shock: I even tried not thinking about "meaningful to you" but it haunted me all week...."meaningful to you"....."meaningful to you"...."meaningful to you" :lol:

I would have liked to know where it was going to go next, but that doesn't always happen to order. The rest of a song might fall into place hours later, or take months or even years to show up. So I guess we'll have to wait to find out how he went....

I have no sound, so I've not listened to this yet, but reading it, I think the second and third verses are the strongest parts of this song. You're right, the direction of this piece is different to Vic's submission, and an interesting read.

Now, I have a general axiom for song writing which states, "any big words should be in the verses rather than the chorus, for the chorus is the simple bit for the drunks and idiots to sing". This axiom is, like any good axiom, to be ignored entirely at will. :wink:
