Nice job on the recording and the arrangement. And, for whatever it's worth, a lot of professional songwriters would love to have a 20% success ratio when it comes to writing a song and writing a memorable one!

Just more of the same. I love the religion vs. spirituality
concept but have some of the same problems with the
phrasing as the others. You probably have it work out
already though.

Great topic and lyrical narrative. Loved the "I got religion but it ain't got me" line. A lot of people are going to pick up on that immediately.

Only concern is how that "...that I'm AWOL..." line is going to parse melodically, but we'll have to wait to hear that one.

It reads well. :D The only thing that tripped me up on the read was the possibility that the stress for the word "sorry" be misplaced.....

But it AIN'T got ME.
"When I'M sorry"......should be SOR-ry.....but the rhyme seems you might sing sor-RY
.....This is without a listen, so maybe you already have it worked out.
