Thanks for the listens and comments:
there is no story line, so it's basically a list or description of an item put to music.

I was going for something between deadpan humor and a commercial jingle based on the bottle ingredients and advertising on the label and website. Antioxidants, Vitamin A and C, a bit of B and some strange math (X is the 24th letter in the alphabet so the 12th note in the "A" chromatic scale is G#). Started fooling around with the atonal chord progressions and then..........
THe song itself has kind of an industrial, robotic feel. Was that intentional?

I was hearing it grungy in my head. After a few listens and the comments I realize I need to add more, maybe an electric bass and guitar. A bit of variety in the vocal somewhere.
Sounds like you got a banjo into the mix too. I kept waiting for that sound to shoot off into a different direction and play over the lyric/strum conspiracy.

Might fool around with that with my limited banjo skills. :)

Hi Andy,

Well, kudos for experimenting with chord progressions. As far as lyrics, they are very explicit (must be the XXX factor ).

Suggestion: Consider the purpose of the song.........I've done this in songs before, too. There challenge is, there is no emotional stance or opinion for the listener to get in tune with. In addition, there is no story line, so it's basically a list or description of an item put to music.

It fits the assignment and that might be it's purpose in an of itself....write it and move on, but it doesn't offer the listener much to relate to or give reason why they should be interested in the subject. Even as is, I would encourage you to keep up songs like this as we learn things we can apply to other songs in the future as well.

Thanks for sharing :D

James
