Greetings all, and welcome to week 21!

I was reading in Classic Rock magazine this week about the supposed death of music in general and rock music in particular. A comparison was made with the movie industry, which seems to be thriving; however this paragraph from Terry Gilliam made me sit up and think, as it's basically what I've been saying for a while now. "I think Hollywood has achieved everything they've ever dreamed of," he said. "The audience now seems to be very dumb. They're watching the same film again and again. When they go to a movie now, it's almost like hearing a pop song; you know the rhythms, you know when the downbeat is going to come, you know when the explosion is going to come...people cling to what makes them comfortable."

The author of the article puts this down to "plain old fear of change" - and that's where you come in. Are you a risk-taker, or are you one of the many people who'll do their utmost to maintain the status quo and their comfortable, cozy lifestyle?

Answers on a postcard, please - preferably set to music in 4/4 time!

As always, good luck with your writing!

:D :D :D

Vic
