Agreed not clear....I meant safe from being alone, but too much assumed.<br><br>I'll work on a revsion.<br>Is this line: "Hope you find a Mr. Right like he did" supposed to mean that the narrator left for a man? 

Yes, I recently watched "I love you Phillip Morris" like some people who come "out of the closet" after being married and sometimes after kids as well.<br> "hope you find someone right." 
That's a great suggestion.  It would make it much more universal; although it leaves it ambiguous as to why the person left, but that might not be a bad thing.<br>It's catchy to say that Mr. Right was wrong, but it doesn't seem to fit.  You could change it to "he was wrong for you."
That could work.  I suppose I am placing my own values in the song that he should not have gotten married, or should have stayed in the marriage, but that's not really stepping into the shoes of the character.<br><br>Great critique, Renee. I do have a couple of comments about the lyrics to "Mr. Right."<br><br>In the first verse, I don't get the meaning of "you were safe from here."<br><br>Is this line: "Hope you find a Mr. Right like he did" supposed to mean that the narrator left for a man?  If so, why would he say "he was wrong leaving you?"  Instead of "hope you find a Mr. Right" you could say "hope you find someone right."  It's catchy to say that Mr. Right was wrong, but it doesn't seem to fit.  You could change it to "he was wrong for you."]]></content:encoded>
