Hi James

Very nice - love the music, the overall feel, and the energy of the lyrics.

Wondering about the focus on the "small town" aspect, though. I've played this for a few students and friends (without them seeing the title, lyrics, or the story behind it all) and all of them guessed that the title would be "Anywhere in the World" because they thought it was more about the wanting to be someplace else rather than about being about the small town. All the various characters could easily be from different small towns and not from one single place, so the bridge:
You don’t need no GPS for this town
Small town

seems a little disjointed, as if it's simply filling space and not contributing to either the overall narrative of the song or the feel. You could easily drop it from the song without losing anything.

Another idea might be to link the taglines of each verse in the bridge. Maybe something along the lines of:
You can eat and drink and breathe in a small town
You can eat and drink and breathe anywhere in the world

You could then repeat this with "eat and drink and breathe and dream" after the last verse if you wanted to bring the bridge back again.

I'm not really sure this works, but it's just a thought about trying to link the "small town" aspect (which truly seems more of a simple way to unite the last lines of each verse) with the "anywhere in the world" theme, which comes across stronger throughout the song as it stands now.

Anyway, as always, this was a lot of fun to listen to and perhaps I'm really overthinking it!

Looking forward to more.

Peace
