another good song here, it seems to me. Well done. When I read through, the only thing that struck me was the "Little Black Book" and speaking of latin :P in the other thread. You could as John says leave out the "Black" and allude to it with some thing like: "Look inside that little book" or "Look inside your little book" or even "Look at me in your book ..."
the last one has a bit of a double meaning.

Anyway good song.

I could be wrong as I'm no expert on old sayings ...

I do agree with The Celt on the use of black though maybe his little alteration would be worth visiting Vic ?

however these lines stood out to me ( I really like them )

Very Good I like this.

A couple of suggestions though

In verse 2 you use the word black twice
Black as night, just misery,
No colour there, just deep jet black, This seems a little forced to me

How about Dark as night or Cold as night

The same with the bridge

Look in your little black book, what do you see? I think you could leave the black out and it wouldn't hurt

If you need the syllable you could use
Look "into" you little book
or
"And" what do you see

But what do I know?
