Nicely done, I think, and a good interpretation of this week's assignment. I didn't mind the rhyme scheme much, I was just glad it had one. Even so, it'd be interesting to take Martin's suggestion and see what you can find out there. Research never hurt a writer.

My only suggestion would be to cut a few choruses. The way it's written, you have 5 verses, each followed by a chorus. That's 5 repetitions of the chorus. That's a lot. Maybe try v, v, c, v, v, c, v, c or v, v, v, c, v, v, c. Try singing it a couple different ways, till you find one that seems like a good fit to you. And singing it out loud is more helpful than singing it in your head. Your tongue tends to trip up more easily than your brain.

I think that just about covers the numbers theme :roll: :wink: :wink:

I had the new Stevie Wonder single “Positivity” in my head throughout the writing of this, not so much the lyrics but the groove. I found this helped in the length of the sentences and the layout of the whole song.
