                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[hey there... longer than i wanted it to be (nothing ever goes as planned, just wanted a short light piece... anyway one could end it after "to forget about things" as well and it'd much shorter... but hey... i dunno). here goes:<br><br><U>things shine</U><br><br>i hold up my face<br>so the sun may melt<br>this frozen mask<br>those colder days<br>have forced upon me<br><br>and with my freed mouth<br>i will ask you out<br>the trees will wave, the green allay<br>that melancholy which is worn out<br>we'll discard those ancient doubts<br><br>oh, we'll go dangling our feet<br>in the sparkling creek<br><br>oh, we'll take off our coats<br>we'll need them no more<br><br>we'll watch liquid light spill<br>all over our skin <br><br>it will be easy<br>it will be easy<br>to forget about things<br><br>and with our freed eyes<br>we'll stare at the sky<br>counting the clouds, picturing crows<br>as we used to do back in school<br>when we didn't yet like rules<br><br>and we'll wonder if the years<br>might have weakened our hearts<br>and strengthened our fears<br><br>we won't know what it'd been all about<br>or why we'd let time get away with it<br>but it'll seem wrong then<br>it'll seem wrong then<br>so we'll name all our worries<br>throw them in the stream<br>and wait till they float upside down<br><br>with lighter heads we'll hang around<br>until the sun comes down<br>to send us home<br>to count us out <br><br><br>... hope someone likes it<br>cheers,<br>bluenightangel<br><br>..and it really feels like summer this week... thanks, bob.  :wink:<br>..a very rough demo, without real chords, just a bit of strumming and singing, an idea of the song, exists now- mail me if you want to have a listen (but i don't promise quality or beauty or anything the like)]]></content:encoded>
