I think you have written a great song here, the lyrics flow well and really paint a picture :)

With reference to the music, I can see it working with slow, finger-picking style, although what I have in my head would probably take the song to over 5 minutes lol

what do you think? Johnson is, of course, Jack Johnson, who, for me, is recreation and soothing softness (and uplifting).
if this song could be somewhat in this direction musically i'd be happy, but i don't think it would work too well... i don't know
