Love the lyrics!

Couple of minor quibbles - you're still just using very basic chords, although you have moved on to fingerpicking - but there are too many pauses for comfort. The lyrics actually give a fragmented, stop/start feel - but the only real complaint I have is that the whole thing sounds under-rehearsed as you've recorded it.

It actuaally sounds like a very rough demo - but it also sounds like a very rough, first run-through. Does that make sense?

I know English isn't your first language - your written English is probably more grammatically correct than 95% of the rest of this site! - but if you're going to record in a foreign languange, you really need to study the RHYTHM of that language and how it's sung, rather than spelled. There are subtle nuances and inflections and cadences which don't come across that well in written speech....

Sheesh, I just realised I'm lecturing on English pronunciation - and with my broad Lancashire accent, anyone living more than 10 miles away needs a Babelfish......

Anne, would you mind if I had a go at this sometime this week? I'd try and use pretty much the same chords...I'll just record a rough demo and send it to you, see what you think?

It's a good song - it just needs a little tweaking!

:D :D :D

Vic
