You've kept the theme consistent and the mood as well.
I am not sure what kind of music you hear with this.....Gregorian chant? :lol: It reads in the lines of a doxology.

Suggestion:
Consider revising this....
Lights dimmed in silence you may hear
Words and music playing softly in the ear
......it's a bit redundant, because "you may hear" is clear it would be "in the ear"
I'll let you match the words and music to have a listen before nit picking through anymore of the lyrics. :wink:

Bit late on this one, but I found it quite difficult not to be cliché'd when writing a song about one of the most inspiration groups of our era...

So thought i'd write about them indirectly....

Still needs a heck of a lot of work, but I needed to get it down....


The Ghosts of Abbey Road

Lights dimmed in silence you may hear
Words and music playing softly in the ear
Freshly painted walls but the soul it still remains
Genius etched within the brickwork like a stain

Singing strings of six, eight, twelve emerge from number three
Their brilliant minds together creating wondrous poetry
Skins tapped, cybal brushed some ivories may have yellowed
I listen to the voices of the ghosts of Abbey Road

Five Beatles on the cover one would never see
A masterpiece the last one or some say let it be
Simple it's in black and white a message so sublime
A final walk across a road the steps frozen in time

Fresh young faces slowly turning old
Foundations solid like the story that is told
Some here no more their ghosts laid to rest
In the silence of the studio the music sounds the best
