Sounds like a good 80's party song ala Pat Benetar's Hit "Hit Me With Your Best Shot".

I think it could be faster. It's about 122bpm now so maybe 130. In the chorus instead of cutting your words off do them legato. I can hear Alice belting out "ROOOOOCK ANNND ROOOOLLLL IS MY MUUUUSSSSIIIICCCC!!!!!! YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!! And this is my personal preference, you could back off the reverb some on the vocals and overal production. They call attention to the vox. I mean lots of bands use tons ov verb and it seems to be coming back but in this nstance I think it's too much. I think if yu turn it back untilyou think now it's not enough it will be just right. Again my prefs.

When you record for posterity I think changing the drums up would be good. I realize this is pre-production.

Good job and rockin' lead.

Ernie

If you can come up with another riff for the chorus, this'll be a killer.

Definite traces of your influences in this, TR - your fave bands, I mean. I can hear some Kiss in this - don't know if you're into Alice Cooper, but I could visualise him singing this.

Guitar playing's excellent - rhythm and lead. You definitely ROOOOOOOOOCK! Weak point's the vocals - they're not bad, but for this kind of hard rock music you definitely have to put more into them. Bass is good, too - TF's pretty much spot on there.

I do like the last (repeated) line of the chorus - "you bring the fire into my life." That's the bit that makes me think of Alice....(Alice, Alice, who the **** is Alice?)

Lot of good points - but you need to work on those vocals, at least IMO!

:D :D :D

Vic
