Saw The Wave Pictures for the second time some weeks ago... they're amiable and I do like the music :) Just can't work out how to do the strumming like David does in that song :?
Anyhow, I've settled for something different in the end.

As for understanding the lyrics..
there are some personal references that would be hard to guess but basically I just meant to write about a day at university (with a chocolate-stained shirt :lol: ), seeing some cute guys but not intending to do anything about them :wink:
Oh and the sky part, a friend of mine explained the colour of the sky above Stockholm at night by comparing it to a dumping site for the city's light (like, the clouds reflecting the artifical light and, thus, the sky glowing orange or violet sometimes)...
I fell for the comparison and felt reminded of the northern lights... so that's all there is to that (and the title) :wink:

Thanks for posting the sound you were going for The Wave Pictures' does in "Strange Fruit for David"....It' not really a style I've spent much time listening to....or understand :? ....That said, I didn't understand "sthlm skies" not even the title....but like you said, the assignment challenged you which is the purpose, so good job on getting something out there.

Ok, hope your ears will survive a listen. It might sound rather tedious... but I did try.
Love the idea of the assignment, Vic, and thought it would force me to pick up my guitar again, which it did, but I still wonder how to play it and get muddled up all the time :oops:
