Thanks, guys for the listens and posts. I agree with your comments. Maybe this is a time when the rules of matching words and music should be broken, or focus more on the positive aspects of one song instead of the negatives of the other....or maybe bringing up another aspect of the shows instead of belaboring the point. :? ....thinking....thinking....thinking......

James

P.S. But I truly look forward to your posts.
Neil, thanks for the encouraging words as well. I do try to push myself to experiment.

True, some are better some are worse to my mind. There are some really good shows out there if you get past the all that other stuff.
While I was listening to this I started to get the feeling that the song was labouring the point just a little bit, then I thought that considering the subject and content then thats not a bad thing. To me songs are about delivering ideas and emotions to the listener, I think youve suceeded in delivering both here.

cheers
Paul

I really like how you put nostalgia in its place here. Maybe a little too much Bat Man over and over again stuff, but I can also see how you may well want it that way to get your point across. And it does come across well. Let me give it some more listens to be fair and possibly add something else later.

But I truly look forward to your posts.

Neil
