Thanks for comments, Chris - with a bit of luck :D I might be recording some songs soon.....got quite a backlog to catch up on. Last time I recorded a song (according to my Sounclick site) was Feb 6, 2009 - that's TOO long. Way too long.

The only thing that slightly stuck on the eye was line 4 where "use" looked like the weaker of the two rhymes. IMO, it often works a little bit better if you put the stronger and punchier one at the end - maybe like "I'm needin' to use just a little more booze" or "right now I could use another hit of booze" or similar. But it may be one of those things that catches the eye more than the ear, and which is fine when sung.

Might be worth a try when you sing it. I now often play about with swapping verses, lines and sections of lines around, just to see which order works best. It's a trick that I learned here a few years back when it was suggested that switching two of my verses worked better (which it did). So thanks for that one (it was your suggestion, of course... :wink: )
