Martin Luther wasn't burned at the stake, but fits in some ways....um...Jan Hus, maybe? He was burned. Geez, burning heretics at the stake was a very popular pastime for a while. So who would be the most likely candidate? I'll think again...

Joan of Arc sprang to mind Good guess, but not who I had in mind. The key line for the clue would be "Angelic words translated; written down"..but don't put too much pressure on yourself. It's not a common name most people would know without a little research.....however it makes sense that a lot of people would know what he did :wink:

Other than that line, I agree with you both that there is enough generalizations that it could apply to a number people (or martyrs to be more specific).

Mp3 sounds really good to me....couple of places where I thought your phrasing was a tiny bit off, but that's nitpicking - I know from experience how tricky it can be to record a song that's only a few hours/days old.

This and your last one are very prog rock James, are you planning a seventies style concept album by any chance? :D :D That would be fun....but, not really planning along those lines, just following the muse :wink:

For this one I tried to contrast line lengths between verse and chorus and (obviously) made the chorus lines/section super long and the verses sparse.

This one is based on an actual person, so bonus points if you can figure out who it is :P
