I like the dutch/lush idea.<br><br>1 Song sensibility: W R Burnett's Vanity Row (nice title): the 'heavy beauty' of the woman and the incredible description of the young autograph seekers: 'Unawed, raucous, cynical'. <br><br>2 Big one that would need work: JK's book Into the Wild.<br>Crazy kid who tried to cheat chance/death once too often.<br><br>Main thing empathy. Chorus maybe:<br><br>(Go) Into the Wild, leave your money behind<br>(Go Into the Wild and lay it all on the line<br><br>Secondary themes, hubris and self reinvention*.
