The only suggestion I'd make is to change "fall" simply because the image of falling off the carousel seems kind of painful. "One day you're small," while obvious, still manages to convey both the child-like images of the song and the possessions-as-stature-and-position-in-life message.

Looking forward to more.

Peace

Hi Ernie and MrEWorm,

Thanks for the listens and posts :D
I like the production and doubled vocals.
Thanks. I like trying different things when it comes to the production. Unfortunately, I don't have good monitor speakers so I really can't tell how to get the best mix as the songs keep sounding different on different speakers.
So the journey is life which goes round and round like
a carousel, a rotating community?
I tried to think of a journey where the getting there was more important than the destination which led me to think of carousels.

Then looking up travel quotes, I came across this one which seemed to fit the image of the planets as a carousel around the sun.

“Living on Earth may be expensive, but it includes an annual free trip around the Sun.”

The other idea is people are worth more investing in than possessions, so joy doesn't come from riding your particular pony; rather joy comes from sharing the experiences in life with others around you –your co-carousel riders.
Very bouncy.
I chose to keep the tempo moving b/c I didn't want the song to drag in the chorus....it seems to fit the carousel spirit as well.

Thanks again.
James
